Are the lines too close together to dry washing properly?

A common question we are asked when customers are buying a new clothesline is... Are the lines too close together to dry washing properly?

In most cases the closer line spacing is on a folding frame or fold down clothesline, as they are most compact and are made to have as many meters of hanging space in the smallest area or frame size.

So, unless you have it totally full (in which case you appreciate as many lines as possible) you can easily hang out washing on every second line so you have double the space between each row of drying washing - so close together lines mostly is a win-win situation!

Larger clotheslines like our SwiftDry Coastline T Bar or the SwiftDry Spinline Rotary have 130mm up to 200mm between lines standard, and Folding Frame Clotheslines like the SwiftDry Skyline have only 66mm standard as they pack line length more in a tighter space.

We trust this helps and feel free to contact us if you have any further questions we can help with.

Talk soon, Regards Ben.
